Denver's most iconic summer ritual returns. Live music opener, stand-up comic, then a cult-classic movie projected against the sandstone as the sun drops. The opening Monday is the move, tickets are cheap, the venue does the rest, and there is no better way to remember why you live here.
The 2026 opener is The Princess Bride. School of Rock plays the pre-show set. Doors at 6:30, band at 7, movie at 8:30. The 2026 season runs five Mondays through August 10.
Live music on the Red Rocks stage at 7 pm, then The Princess Bride projected after sundown. General admission seating. $25 standard, $50 VIP.
Bring layers, the temperature drops as the sun goes behind the rocks. Pack snacks, the lines at the venue get long. Pull up Highway 26 early for parking. Walking down from Lot 1 with the light fading is half the experience.
