Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Broadway's six-time Tony Award winner finally makes its Denver run. The story picks up nineteen years after the books left off, with Harry as a Ministry employee and his son Albus heading off to Hogwarts.

The stage magic is the actual reason to go, even if you are not a Potterhead. The illusions sit in a category by themselves, and the production has been refined over a decade of West End and Broadway runs. This is a real night out, blazer and all.

What to Expect

One full performance (the original two-part show has been condensed into a single sitting). Runtime is about three and a half hours including intermission. The Buell is intimate enough that even back-of-house seats are good.

Plan Your Night

The Buell is in the DCPA complex downtown. Park at the Tabor Center garage or take light rail to 16th and California. Dinner first at one of the walkable spots, Coperta and Tavernetta are both close. Doors typically open thirty minutes before curtain.
