Denver Fringe Festival

Denver's choose-your-own-adventure performing arts festival is back for year seven, taking over 20-plus venues with 80-plus original shows. Immersive theater, drag, circus, alt-comedy, dance, cabaret. Build a night around three shows and dinner in RiNo and you have the most interesting Friday in town.

The format is the point. You buy a Festival Pass for ninety-five dollars and walk into any show first-come, first-seated. Some are 15 minutes, some are 90, and the best gambles are usually the unfamiliar names. There is also a KidsFringe weekend and two visual art exhibitions threaded through the schedule.

What to Expect

Five days, 80-plus shows, 220-plus performances across more than 20 venues centered on Five Points and RiNo. Pick up your pass at the Fringe Hub at Ratio Beerworks (2920 Larimer St), open June 4 and 5 from 2 to 8 pm and June 6 from noon to 8 pm.

Plan Your Night

Each venue is walkable from at least one other, so plan three shows in a row and walk between them. Eat at Hop Alley, Stoic and Genuine, or any of the Larimer Square spots. Bring a phone with a charged battery, schedules shift hourly.
